This developed relatively late in my life although I had worn hosiery from my early teen it was not until the age of 38  when with the help of a sales assistant from a local department store ( Hosiery Department ) introduced my to the finer points of hosiery. A year later I come on-line and seeing how hosiery was treated by other in there web site I decided to publish and develop this one dedicated to hosiery information but without the associated pornography that was so prevalent to the subject of hosiery. In January 2001 Make over for legs was started.

Nadine the sales assistant I mentioned earlier was in every respect like me an average women if a little younger than myself, She had great legs and initially was very cagey about the hosiery she wore for work ,later I found out that this was because she was not wearing any or the brands they stocked in the shop she worked.
